About this coloring page

A second rainy-day page: the frog sits under an umbrella in a raincoat, raindrops fall around it, and a clump of daisies grows at its side. Its wide mouth is open in a big laugh under the umbrella. It is page 3 of 9 in Cozy Spring Frogs, where every page shows a frog on a rainy spring day — print this one or the whole book.

Printing and coloring tips

Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.

Ideas for this page

  • Use two blues for the raindrops — a light one inside and a darker one on the edge.
  • Bright green with a pale green or yellow tummy is the classic frog look; pink cheeks make it extra cute.
  • Color the raincoat the same as on the first page so the two rainy pages match.

Questions

Why are there two umbrella pages?

They make a pair: tulips on one, daisies on the other, and the frog is posed a little differently — nice to color side by side.
