Printable Paper Dolls

Free printable paper dolls with whole wardrobes of clothes to cut out, in color and as black-and-white pages to color. Every outfit has fold-over tabs, so no glue is needed.

How our paper dolls work

Each wardrobe is one PDF: the doll and the first outfits on page 1, more clothes on page 2, everything drawn to the same scale so it fits. Print on light cardstock for the doll and regular paper for the clothes, cut along the outlines and fold the white tabs behind the doll.

Our first dolls are paper ducks — a cream duck and a round yellow duck, each with six seasonal wardrobes: dresses, overalls, coats, pajamas, swimsuits, hats and bags.

Color it yourself

Every wardrobe also has a black-and-white version with the same pieces as line art. Kids color the clothes in their own patterns, then cut them out and play. It also saves color ink.

Questions

What paper is best for paper dolls?

Cardstock (65 lb / 176 gsm) for the doll so it stays stiff; regular printer paper is fine for the clothes. No cardstock? Glue the printed doll onto a cereal box before cutting.

How do I keep the clothes on?

Fold the white tabs behind the doll. If an outfit slides, a dot of reusable putty or removable tape on the back of a tab holds it.
