Teddy Bear Paper Doll: Boy Bear with 7 Free Wardrobes
A free printable teddy bear paper doll for boys and girls: a boy bear with seven wardrobes — overalls, suits, golf, sailor, autumn, summer and spring clothes.
Pages in this set
Paper dolls are not only about dresses. This teddy bear paper doll is a boy bear in a white tank top and shorts, with seven complete wardrobes that look like a little vintage storybook: denim overalls and a toy car, a tuxedo and a pocket watch, argyle golf sweaters and a golf bag, sailor tops and a captain’s hat. Every wardrobe is one PDF with two pages: page 1 has the bear and the first outfits, page 2 has six more, all at the same scale. Every wardrobe also comes as a black-and-white version to color before cutting.
What’s in the seven wardrobes
Everyday has overalls, suspenders, cardigans, a hoodie, a flat cap, a bow tie, a satchel and a red toy car. Gentleman is the dressy one: three-piece suits, a tuxedo, tweed, a top hat, a briefcase and a pocket watch. Golf brings argyle vests, plus-fours, polos, two-tone shoes, a golf bag, a club and golf balls. Sailor has striped tees, a navy pea coat, a rope belt, a life vest, a life ring and binoculars. Autumn Plaid is quilted jackets, a duffle coat, plaid scarves, a fair-isle sweater and an umbrella. Summer has lemon and sailboat shirts, a bicycle tee, overalls and sunglasses, and Spring has rain jackets, rain boots, a yellow umbrella and a little backpack.
How to make the teddy bear paper doll
- Print both pages of a wardrobe at 100% (“actual size”) on Letter or A4. Use cardstock for page 1 if you have it.
- Cut out the bear first — a grown-up can help around the ears and paws.
- Cut out the clothes, keeping every white tab.
- Dress the bear: lay an outfit on top and fold the tabs behind him.
Play ideas
Ask kids to dress the bear for a job: a sailor, a golfer, a gentleman going to a party, a hiker in the rain. Act out a little story with the outfits, or make a weather chart where the bear changes clothes every morning. Siblings can play together with the paper bear doll and her seven wardrobes, and all fourteen sets are also teddy bear coloring pages.

Questions
Is this paper doll for boys?
It is a boy bear, but every child is welcome to dress him. Boys who never touched a paper doll often love this one: overalls, a tuxedo, a golf bag and a captain's hat are much more fun to cut out than they sound.
Is there a black and white version?
Yes. Every wardrobe has a second download with the same bear and clothes as black-and-white line art, so kids can color the outfits first and then cut them out.
Do the clothes fit the girl paper bear too?
Mostly, yes. Both bears are printed at the same scale, so the sweaters, jackets and shorts swap between them — and the girl bear's dresses fit the boy bear just as well.
What paper should I use?
Cardstock (65 lb / 176 gsm) for the bear, regular printer paper for the clothes. No cardstock? Glue the printed bear onto a cereal box before you cut him out.
Can I print these for my class?
Yes — print as many copies as you need for your home or classroom. Please share the link to this page rather than the PDF files, and do not sell the printouts.
