About this design

Page 1 has the bear, a lemon-print shirt with cream shorts, tan overalls with a sun patch, a green striped tee with denim shorts, a red polo with green shorts, a striped bucket hat, a green cap, a canvas bag and round sunglasses. Page 2 adds a yellow sailboat shirt with denim shorts, a blue striped polo with khaki shorts, green overalls over a strawberry shirt, a bicycle tee with red shorts, a gingham shirt with suspenders and a red camp shirt with cargo shorts.

How to make it

Print both pages at 100%. Cut out the doll first and glue it onto a piece of cereal-box card if you printed on plain paper. Cut out each outfit along its outline, keeping the white tabs; put it on the doll and fold the tabs behind the shoulders and sides. Store the clothes in an envelope or a zip bag so nothing gets lost.

Ideas for this page

  • A rainy-day summer activity — pack the bear for a picnic or a trip to the lake.
  • Kids love the small prints: color new lemons, strawberries or boats on the coloring version.
  • Swap hats with the girl bear's Beach Day Wardrobe.

Questions

Which pieces are smallest?

The sunglasses and the cap. Cut them first while hands are fresh, or let a grown-up help with those two.
