Paper Bear Doll Printable: 7 Free Teddy Bear Wardrobes
A free printable paper bear doll with seven cozy wardrobes: vintage dresses, autumn coats, tennis, sailor, hiking, beach and winter clothes. Print, cut and dress.
Pages in this set
A teddy bear is the friendliest paper doll there is: no hairstyles to cut around, a round tummy that every outfit fits, and a face that makes kids smile before the first dress goes on. This paper bear doll is a honey-colored teddy in a cream lace romper, with seven complete wardrobes to print, cut out and mix. Every wardrobe is one PDF with two pages: page 1 has the bear and the first outfits, page 2 has six more pieces from the same set, all at the same scale. Every wardrobe also comes as a black-and-white version to color in.
What’s in the seven wardrobes
Vintage is all puffed sleeves, embroidered aprons, gingham and a lace bonnet. Autumn Walk brings plaid scarves, corduroy pinafores, leaf pockets and a little satchel. Tennis has pleated dresses, polos, a visor and a racket. Boat Trip is navy and red: sailor dresses, a rope belt, a yellow raincoat and a life vest. Mountain Hike has hooded jackets, quilted vests, cargo shorts, a backpack and a water bottle. Beach Day is sundresses, rompers, a straw hat, sunglasses and a bucket and spade, and Winter Walk has fur-trimmed coats, snowsuits, fair-isle sweaters, a bobble hat and mittens. That is well over fifty pieces in one soft, storybook style.
How to make the paper bear
- Print both pages of a wardrobe at 100% (“actual size”) on Letter or A4. Use cardstock for page 1 if you have it.
- Cut out the bear first. Small hands do better with the clothes; a grown-up can cut around the ears and paws.
- Cut out the clothes, keeping every white tab.
- Dress the bear: lay an outfit on top and fold the tabs behind her.
Play ideas
Dress the bear for the weather every morning — it is a gentle way to talk about seasons and what we wear. Pack a wardrobe into an envelope for a car trip, or set up a little boutique where one child is the shop and one the customer. In class, one wardrobe is a calm 30-minute fine-motor activity. Looking for a different bear? The teddy bear boy has his own wardrobes, and all fourteen sets are also teddy bear coloring pages.

Questions
Is there a black and white version?
Yes. Every wardrobe has a second download with the same bear and clothes as black-and-white line art. Print it, color the outfits in your own colors, then cut and dress the bear as usual.
Do the clothes from one wardrobe fit the bear from another?
Yes. All seven wardrobes are printed at one common scale, so the bear on any page 1 wears the clothes from every set — mix the autumn coat with the beach hat if you like.
Is there a boy bear too?
Yes — the teddy bear boy has his own seven wardrobes with overalls, suits, golf and sailor outfits. His clothes are drawn to the same scale, so the two bears can swap many pieces.
What paper should I use?
Cardstock (65 lb / 176 gsm) for the bear so she stands up to lots of outfit changes, regular printer paper for the clothes. No cardstock? Glue the printed bear onto a cereal box before cutting.
Can I print these for my class?
Yes — print as many copies as you need for your home or classroom. Please share the link to this page rather than the PDF files, and do not sell the printouts.
