How to print: print both pages at 100% ("actual size") on Letter or A4, so the clothes fit the doll. Cardstock (65 lb / 176 gsm) keeps the doll standing; clothes are fine on regular paper.
Black & white version — color it yourself

The same doll and clothes as black-and-white line art, all 2 pages: color the outfits in any pattern you like, then cut them out and dress the doll exactly like the color version. Same size, same tabs — and it works on any printer.

Page 2 comes in the same PDF as the doll, so one download gives you both. Every piece is drawn to the same scale and fits the doll on page 1: cut around the outline, keep the white tabs and fold them behind the doll.

Page 1 has the bear, a pink polka-dot sundress, a mint romper with a tropical print, a blue striped sundress with a starfish, a yellow floral playsuit, a straw sun hat with a pink bow, a striped beach tote, pink sunglasses and a bucket and spade. Page 2 adds an aqua striped romper with seashells, a pink floral wrap dress, a lilac tee with yellow floral shorts, a cream top with mint starfish shorts, a pink gingham romper and a yellow dress with blue shells.
How to make it
Print both pages at 100%. Cut out the doll first and glue it onto a piece of cereal-box card if you printed on plain paper. Cut out each outfit along its outline, keeping the white tabs; put it on the doll and fold the tabs behind the shoulders and sides. Store the clothes in an envelope or a zip bag so nothing gets lost.
Ideas for this page
- A rainy-day summer activity: dress the bear for the beach you wish you were at.
- Glue a little sand onto a card for a beach backdrop.
- The sunglasses fit over the bear's eyes — fold the tabs behind her ears.
Questions
How do the sunglasses stay on?
They have two small tabs that fold behind the bear's head. If they slip, a tiny piece of removable tape on the tabs keeps them in place.
