About this design

Page 1 has the bear in a white tank top and shorts, denim overalls over a gingham shirt, a striped tee with red suspender shorts, a green cardigan with corduroy shorts, a mustard sweater vest with denim shorts, a flat cap, a blue bow tie, a green satchel and a red toy car. Page 2 adds a cream cable sweater with brown shorts, a gingham shirt with suspender shorts, a denim jacket with olive shorts, an orange hoodie, green overalls over a leaf-print shirt and a navy cardigan with red shorts.

How to make it

Print both pages at 100%. Cut out the doll first and glue it onto a piece of cereal-box card if you printed on plain paper. Cut out each outfit along its outline, keeping the white tabs; put it on the doll and fold the tabs behind the shoulders and sides. Store the clothes in an envelope or a zip bag so nothing gets lost.

Ideas for this page

  • Start here: the bear on page 1 is the same in every wardrobe, and these basics mix with all the other sets.
  • The little red car is a favorite — park it next to the bear when he is dressed.
  • Let kids pick an outfit for school, one for the park and one for a birthday.

Questions

Which wardrobe should I print first?

This one. The overalls and sweaters have simple outlines, so it is the easiest set to cut, and the pieces go with every other wardrobe.
