Here the bear wears a raincoat with the hood pulled up, sitting in a puddle while drops splash up around it. Its round ears stick out through the hood, and its paws rest in the water. It is page 6 of 9 in Cozy Spring Bears, where every page shows a bear on a rainy spring day — print this one or the whole book.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- A classic yellow raincoat looks great, but red, green or pink work too.
- Try a polar bear in white and pale blue, or a panda in black and white.
- Draw a few extra splash drops around the puddle.
Questions
What colors look best for the raincoat?
Yellow is the classic, like on the cover, but any bright color works — try making each raincoat page a different color.
