The first page of the book: the bear stands in a little puddle in a raincoat with buttons and pockets, holding a big umbrella with raindrops on it, and two tulips grow next to it. Its round ears, fluffy fur edges and the paw pads on its feet are fun to color. It is page 1 of 9 in Cozy Spring Bears, where every page shows a bear on a rainy spring day — print this one or the whole book.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color the umbrella first — one bright color, or every panel different like a rainbow.
- Honey brown or caramel fur with a lighter tummy and muzzle looks cozy.
- Add blue ripples in the puddle so it looks wet.
