One way to color it, in bright marker colors. Yours can look completely different: stripes, polka dots, your favorite colors. Color the doll and the clothes, then cut them out along the outline, keep the white tabs and dress the doll.

About this coloring page

Page 2 of the Lavender & Pear Wardrobe: a green tiered dress, linen overalls with a lavender patch, a red dress with heart pockets, a floral blouse with blue shorts, a pear wrap dress and a lilac coat with flower pockets, as black-and-white line art to color. The duck is on page 1 of the same wardrobe, and every piece on this page fits it. Color the clothes in any colors or patterns, then cut them out and keep the white tabs to fold behind the duck.

Printing and coloring tips

Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.

Ideas for this page

  • Line up all ten outfits from lightest to darkest color before playing.
  • Color first, cut second: it is much easier to color the small tabs and bows while the page is still in one piece.
  • Print the page twice and color the same outfit in two different ways, then compare them on the duck.
