The rainy day begins. The duck sits at a round table by the window, chin on wing, looking at a sketchbook and a pencil next to a warm mug. Raindrops and autumn leaves fill the window, a framed leaf hangs on the wall and an armchair waits in the corner.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color the raindrops light blue and the leaves orange.
- Ask: what would you paint on a rainy day?
Questions
Is it raining on every page?
Yes — the rain stays outside the window through the whole book.
