Now the duck looks like a real artist: a beret, a little neckerchief and an apron, with a paint palette in one wing. Brushes stand in a jar on a side table, and the easel is ready. The palette has empty paint spots that kids can fill with any colors.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Fill each spot on the palette with a different color.
- Give the beret a bright color — artists love red berets.
