About this coloring page

This coloring page has the yellow paper duck and a blue puffer jacket with corduroy shorts, a pink fleece coat with snowflake pockets, a green toggle jacket and a Fair Isle sweater with cable-knit shorts — all as clean black-and-white line art with the white fold-over tabs. It is page 1 of the Winter Wardrobe; page 2 has more clothes for the same duck. Color the duck and the outfits, cut along the outline and the pieces become a paper doll set.

Printing and coloring tips

Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.

Ideas for this page

• Dress the duck for a snow day and cut snowflakes from white paper for the background.
• Print the page twice and color the same outfit in two different ways, then compare them on the duck.
• Color first, cut second: it is much easier to color the small tabs and bows while the page is still in one piece.
