About this design

Page 1 has the duck, a striped tee with denim overalls, a green hoodie with a tiny duck patch, plaid shorts with suspenders and a tie, a sailor top with a red neckerchief, a green baseball cap and a brown aviator hat with goggles. Page 2 adds a fluffy bear-ear hoodie jacket, a pink party dress with a bow, a lilac hoodie, a yellow raincoat, a dinosaur tee and a varsity cardigan. Ten outfits and two hats.

How to make it

Print both pages at 100%. Cut out the doll first and glue it onto a piece of cereal-box card if you printed on plain paper. Cut out each outfit along its outline, keeping the white tabs; put it on the doll and fold the tabs behind the shoulders and sides. Store the clothes in an envelope or a zip bag so nothing gets lost.

Ideas for this page

  • Put on the aviator hat and the sailor top and let kids tell where the duck is flying or sailing today.
  • The yellow raincoat matches the duck — great for a "jumping in puddles" story.
  • A good first set for kids who prefer hoodies and overalls to dresses.

Questions

Are the hats easy to cut?

The cap is easy; the aviator hat has goggles inside the outline, so cut around the whole hat and leave the goggles on.
