The adventure starts on the shore. Wearing a safari hat and a backpack, the kitty paddles a log raft with a small sail up onto a sandy beach. A crab waves from the sand, seashells lie by the water, a big palm tree leans over the bay and a smiling sun shines above the mountains on the horizon. The raft and the kitty are big, clear shapes, good for younger kids.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color the sea in two blues — darker far away, lighter near the beach.
- Give the crab a bright red or orange so you can find it again on the next pages.
