View allAbout this coloring page
The kitty finds a wooden chest washed up on the beach and opens it: inside are a coil of rope, two mugs, a folded blanket and other supplies — and a map with a star on it. A parrot perches on a palm branch to watch, a crab sits next to the chest and shells are scattered across the sand. This page sets up the treasure hunt in Part 2.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Make the chest brown with gold corners, like a real treasure chest.
- Draw what else you would pack in an island supply chest.
