Every gift needs a card. At a desk by the window the kitty draws a birthday card with a cake, candles and hearts. Crayons are scattered across the desk, a cup of pencils and a book sit nearby and the wrapped present waits at the side. A lamp and a shelf with a bunny picture complete the room. It closes Part 1 — next, the kitty gets dressed for the party.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- After coloring, fold a paper in half and make your own birthday card.
- Use the same colors on the drawn cake as on the real cake in Part 3.
