The story ends with a party. Under the apple tree in the garden, the kitty and two kitty friends sit at a round table with a teapot, cups, a jar of strawberry jam and plates of toast with jam. A basket of apples sits on the grass, flowers bloom everywhere and the little house is behind them. A sweet, happy ending — from the garden all the way to the jar.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Use the same strawberry red as in the jam pages so the story matches.
- Ask kids to retell the whole story, from planting seeds to the tea party.
