Next come pickles. The kitty packs cucumbers into tall glass jars, next to a jar of tomatoes and a jar of dill. Bowls of cucumbers, tomatoes and fresh dill sit on the checked tablecloth, utensils stand in a pot on the shelf and the garden shows through the window. A great page for green and red colors.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Use different greens for the cucumbers and the dill.
- Make quick fridge pickles with a grown-up and taste them in a day.
