Fall Paper Squishy Templates
Free printable fall paper squishies — pumpkin pie, turkey, apple cider, autumn leaf, pumpkin spice and corn — each in color, as a coloring version, and with instructions.
Pages in this set
Fall is the season paper squishies were made for: a pumpkin pie, a turkey for the Thanksgiving table, a mug of cider, a maple leaf. This set has six designs, each with a color template, a coloring version for black-and-white printers and a one-page instruction sheet with pictures. Print, tape, cut, stuff — a finished squishy takes a child about fifteen minutes and costs nothing but a sheet of paper and some clear tape.
What’s in the set
Pumpkin Pie, Cute Turkey, Apple Cider, Autumn Leaf, Pumpkin Spice Latte and Cute Corn. All drawn in the same kawaii style so they look like a collection together. Finished pieces are roughly 10–14 cm (4–5.5 inches) — the pie and the turkey are the wide ones, the corn is the tall one.
How to make a paper squishy
- Print the color or the coloring template at 100% on regular paper. The guide line on the page should measure 2 cm.
- Tape the printed side of both pieces with clear packing tape, strips overlapping a little.
- Cut along the dotted line, keeping the white border — the two halves are taped together on this border.
- Join the halves blank-side-in with small strips of tape and leave an opening of a few centimeters.
- Stuff with cotton wool or polyester filling. Loosely.
- Seal the opening and squeeze. If it stays flat, a grown-up makes a tiny needle hole in the back.
The instruction PDF with every design shows each step with that design’s own picture.
Ideas for the classroom and the table
- Thanksgiving place cards: make a turkey per guest and write names on the back with a permanent marker before taping.
- Group project: print the coloring version for the whole class, let everyone color their own, and tape them up together.
- Sorting game for little ones: the six finished squishies make a quick “which is food, which is not” game.

Questions
What kind of tape works best?
Wide clear packing tape (2 inches / 5 cm) covers a piece in three strips. Regular office tape works too, it just takes longer. Lamination is not needed.
Can I make these without a color printer?
Yes — every design has a coloring version. Print it on plain paper, color with markers or pencils, then tape over it. Crayons smudge less than markers under tape.
What do I stuff them with?
Cotton wool, polyester toy stuffing, or the filling from an old pillow. Tissue paper works in a pinch but doesn't spring back as well.
