Pages in this set
Ten kawaii foods to print, tape and squish: a pizza slice, a taco, a hot dog, a sandwich, a waffle with jam, a chocolate donut and a little table set — a ketchup and a mustard bottle and a salt and a pepper shaker. Every design comes as a color template, a black-and-white version to color yourself and a one-page instruction sheet with its own pictures. You need paper, clear tape and some soft filling — that’s it.
What’s in the set
The six foods have big kawaii faces on the front; the backs show the other side — the pizza crust, the taco shell, the sesame bun, the waffle and the donut ring. The bottles and shakers have smiling labels on the front and a plain label on the back. Most pieces are 11–12 cm across, and the taco and hot dog are a little wider.
How to make a food paper squishy
- Print the color or the coloring template at 100% (“actual size”) on Letter or A4. The guide line should measure 2 cm.
- Tape over the printed side of both pieces with clear packing tape.
- Cut along the dotted line and keep the white border — the halves are taped together on it.
- Join the front and the back, blank sides together, with small strips of tape. Leave a 2–3 cm opening.
- Stuff loosely with cotton wool or polyester filling, then tape the opening shut.
The donut has a hole in the middle with its own dotted line: cut it out too, and tape around the hole before the outer edge. Every instruction sheet shows the steps with that design’s own pictures.

Questions
Which one is the easiest?
The pizza slice, the sandwich and the waffle: a triangle and a circle, with nothing small to cut around. The donut takes a little longer because of the hole in the middle.
How big are they?
About 11–12 cm across; the taco and the hot dog are 15 cm wide. Ketchup and mustard are tall bottles, about 9 × 13 cm, printed side by side with their backs.
How do I make the donut with the hole?
Cut out both pieces, then cut the hole along the inner dotted line, keeping a white border inside it. Tape around the hole first and then the outer edge, leaving an opening for the stuffing.
