Everyday Wardrobe — More Outfits — colored example of the coloring page in bright colors

One way to color it, in bright marker colors. Yours can look completely different: stripes, polka dots, your favorite colors. Color the doll and the clothes, then cut them out along the outline, keep the white tabs and dress the doll.

About this coloring page

Page 2 of the Everyday Wardrobe: a camel trench coat, wide-leg jeans, a pale blue cardigan, a cream blouse, a green vest, a striped tee, a navy pencil skirt, a red beret, tall brown boots and a yellow purse, as black-and-white line art to color. The doll is on page 1 of every wardrobe, and every piece on this page fits her. Color the clothes in any colors or patterns, then cut them out and keep the white tabs to fold behind the doll.

Printing and coloring tips

Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.

Ideas for this page

  • Ask kids to build three outfits for school, a party and a rainy day from this page alone.
  • Color first, cut second: it is much easier to color the small tabs and bows while the page is still in one piece.
  • Print the page twice and color the same outfit in two different ways, then compare them on the doll.

Questions

Where is the doll for these clothes?

On page 1 of the Everyday Wardrobe — the Doll & Outfits coloring page in this set. The doll is the same in all eight wardrobes, so any page 1 works.
