Coloring idea

One way to color it, in bright marker colors. Yours can look completely different: stripes, polka dots, your favorite colors. Color the doll and the clothes, then cut them out along the outline, keep the white tabs and dress the doll.

About this coloring page
Page 2 of the Medieval Princess Gowns: a blue gown with silver embroidery, a lilac laced gown, a rose and gold gown, a pointed hennin hat with a veil, a gold circlet with a veil, a brooch and a rose flower crown, as black-and-white line art to color. The doll is on page 1 of every wardrobe, and every piece on this page fits her. Color the clothes in any colors or patterns, then cut them out and keep the white tabs to fold behind the doll.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- The cloak goes over every gown — cut it on cardstock so it hangs well.
- Colored pencils are best for the doll herself: light strokes for the skin, a darker shade for the hair.
- Felt-tip markers give the brightest colors; put a scrap sheet underneath so they do not bleed through.
Questions
Where is the doll for these clothes?
On page 1 of the Medieval Princess Gowns — the Doll & Outfits coloring page in this set. The doll is the same in all eight wardrobes, so any page 1 works.
