Download
How to print: open the PDF and print at 100% ("actual size") on Letter or A4 paper. The page has a white margin, so nothing gets cut off.
Coloring idea

One way to color it, in bright marker colors. Yours can look completely different: stripes, polka dots, your favorite colors. Color the doll and the clothes, then cut them out along the outline, keep the white tabs and dress the doll.

About this coloring page
This coloring page has the paper doll and a plum lace-up corset top, a black ruffled skirt with a bow, a cream blouse with a black bow, a long black witch gown with gold stars, a plum dress with a lace collar, tall black boots, a witch hat and a jack-o'-lantern bag — all as clean black-and-white line art with the white fold-over tabs. It is page 1 of the Halloween Witch Wardrobe; page 2 has more clothes drawn to the same scale. Color the doll and the outfits, cut along the outlines and the pieces become a paper doll set.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Let kids design a whole witch costume, then name their witch and her spell book.
- Print the page twice and color the same outfit in two different ways, then compare them on the doll.
- Color first, cut second: it is much easier to color the small tabs and bows while the page is still in one piece.
Questions
Do I need page 2 as well?
Not to color this page — it has the doll and her first outfits. Page 2 of the Halloween Witch Wardrobe adds more clothes for the same doll.
