Everyday Wardrobe — Bear & Outfits — colored example of the coloring page in bright colors

One way to color it, in bright marker colors. Yours can look completely different: stripes, polka dots, your favorite colors. Color the doll and the clothes, then cut them out along the outline, keep the white tabs and dress the doll.

About this coloring page

This coloring page has the teddy bear boy and denim overalls over a gingham shirt, a striped tee with red suspender shorts, a green cardigan with corduroy shorts, a mustard sweater vest with denim shorts, a flat cap, a blue bow tie, a green satchel and a red toy car — all as black-and-white line art with the white fold-over tabs. It is page 1 of the Everyday Wardrobe; page 2 has six more pieces drawn to the same scale. Color the bear and the outfits, cut along the outlines and the page becomes a teddy bear paper doll.

Printing and coloring tips

Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.

Ideas for this page

  • Start here: the bear on page 1 is the same in every wardrobe, and these basics mix with all the other sets.
  • Try a pattern on one outfit — stripes, polka dots or tiny hearts — and keep another one plain.
  • Leave the white tabs uncolored so you can see where to fold them.

Questions

Do I need page 2 as well?

Not to color this page — it has the bear and the first outfits. Page 2 of the Everyday Wardrobe adds more clothes for the same bear.
