Big Paper Squishy Templates: 5 Cozy Animals
Five free big paper squishy templates, about 24 cm tall: a bear, a cat, a lamb, a piglet and a puppy, each in color and black and white, with instructions.
Pages in this set
These are our big paper squishy templates: five cozy animals that fill a whole page each, about 24 cm (9.5 inches) tall. A brown bear, a calico cat, a woolly lamb, a pink piglet and a puppy with floppy ears — all tall, soft shapes with paw prints or hooves, made to be squeezed. Every design comes as a color template, a black-and-white version to color and an instruction sheet with pictures.
What’s in the set
Each template has two pages: page 1 is the front, page 2 is the back, printed at the same scale so they match. The pieces are about 15 × 24 cm with the white border, which makes them twice the size of a classic paper squishy and much more fun to hold. The puppy is the widest, the piglet the easiest to cut, and the lamb has the fluffiest edge.
How to make a big paper squishy
- Print both pages of the color or the coloring template at 100% (“actual size”) on Letter or A4. Check the 2 cm guide.
- Tape over the printed side of both pieces with wide clear packing tape.
- Cut along the dotted line, keeping the white border all the way round.
- Join the front and the back blank sides together with short strips of tape. Leave a 4–5 cm opening at the bottom.
- Stuff the ears first, then the body, loosely, and tape the opening shut.
The instruction sheet for every design walks through each step with its own pictures.
Ideas
- Pillow buddies: a big squishy is soft enough to hold during story time or a movie.
- Farm and pets: make the lamb and the piglet for a farm corner, the cat and the puppy for a pet shop game.
- Big and small: pair a big squishy with a small one from our animal sets — a parent and a baby.

Questions
How big are these squishies?
About 15 × 24 cm (6 × 9.5 inches) — each piece fills a whole page, so the front and the back print on two pages.
How much stuffing do I need?
More than for a small squishy: roughly two handfuls of polyester filling or a bag of cotton balls. Keep it loose so it squishes.
How much tape?
Plan on a whole roll of 5 cm (2 inch) packing tape for two or three big squishies — about six strips per side.
