Kawaii Paper Squishy Templates: Full-Body Animals
Four free kawaii paper squishy templates with whole sitting animals: a cat, a duckling, a fox and a koala, in color and black and white, with instructions.
Pages in this set
These kawaii paper squishy templates are whole little animals sitting down: an orange tabby cat, a plump duckling, a fox with a bushy tail and a fluffy-eared koala. Each one has paws in front, a matching back with its tail, and comes as a color template, a black-and-white coloring version and an instruction sheet with pictures. They are bigger than our animal faces — about 13–15 cm (5–6 inches) tall — so they squish nicely.
What’s in the set
Four designs, each front and back side by side on one landscape page at full size. The cat is the tallest, the koala the roundest, the duckling the easiest to cut and the fox has the best tail. All four share the same soft kawaii style: big shiny eyes, rosy cheeks and small round paws.
How to make a full-body paper squishy
- Print the color or the coloring template at 100% (“actual size”) on Letter or A4, landscape. Check the 2 cm guide.
- Tape over the printed side of both pieces with clear packing tape, strips overlapping a little.
- Cut along the dotted line and keep the white border.
- Join the halves blank sides together with short strips of tape, leaving a 2–3 cm opening at the bottom.
- Stuff the head and ears first, then the body, and tape the opening shut.
Each design’s instruction sheet shows these steps with its own pictures.
Ideas
- Color your own breed: the black-and-white cat can become a ginger, a tuxedo or a calico cat.
- Story time: make all four and act out a picnic in the forest — who brings what?
- Desk buddies: a squishy on the desk is a quiet fidget for kids who need something in their hands while they listen.

Questions
Why is the template landscape?
Front and back sit side by side at full size (about 12 × 13–15 cm each). Print at 100% and choose landscape if your printer does not rotate it by itself.
How is this different from the cute animal set?
These are whole animals sitting down, with paws, feet and tails, and they are bigger — about 13–15 cm tall instead of 12 cm faces.
Do they stand up?
They sit flat on their bottom edge if you keep the filling light at the bottom and push more into the head.
