The kitty and a friendly little robot collect space crystals. The kitty lifts a long crystal into a crate with a star on it, the robot holds another one, and clusters of pointed crystals grow from the ground around them. A ringed planet, mountains and stars complete the scene. The crystals are made of flat facets, which look amazing colored in light and dark shades.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color each crystal face a slightly different shade of the same color to make it sparkle.
- Use purple, blue and pink for "magic" space crystals.
Questions
How do I make the crystals look shiny?
Leave one small face of each crystal white and color the others light to dark — it looks like light shining on them.
