The biggest discovery of the trip: a valley of giant crystals taller than the kitty. The astronaut walks through it holding a little scanner, while huge crystals rise on both sides, a path winds back to the rocket, and a ringed planet and stars fill the sky. The tall crystals give older kids a lot to color, while the kitty and the path are simple shapes.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Choose one color family for the crystals — all blues or all purples — for a magical look.
- Draw what the scanner screen shows.
Questions
Is this page good for older kids?
