Something left tracks on the beach. Under a crescent moon the kitty bends down with a flashlight to follow a trail of footprints across the sand. The crab tiptoes behind, the parrot watches from a palm, and shells and rocks dot the shore. Who made the footprints? The answer is on the next page.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Make the sky dark blue or purple and the moon bright yellow.
- Draw a beam of light coming out of the flashlight.
Questions
