View allAbout this coloring page
The map leads to a tall waterfall. Behind the falling water is a cave, and at the back of the cave sits a treasure chest. The kitty points a flashlight inside, the sea turtle and the crab follow across the stepping stones, and the parrot rides along. Rocks, vines and ferns frame the scene. One of the most exciting pages in the book.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color the waterfall with light blue and white stripes to show it falling.
- Make the cave dark so the treasure chest really stands out.
