The kitty has finished the cards and walks them down a stone path to the mailbox. One envelope with a leaf stamp goes into the box, and more are tucked under the kitty's arm. Behind the white picket fence there are bushes, a lamp by the front door and a row of little houses with chimneys. Leaves cover the path and a big pumpkin sits by the fence. It is the same scene as the book cover, so kids can copy the colors from the cover if they like.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Look at the color cover of the book for ideas — this page shows the same moment.
- Count the leaves on the path before coloring and give each one a different fall color.
