Everything is cooked, so the kitty sets the table. A round table gets plates, folded napkins, forks and knives on a gingham runner, and in the center stand two candles with a little arrangement of pumpkins and leaves. Chairs circle the table, a wreath hangs on the wall and leaves fall outside the window. This page closes Part 2 and sets the stage for the feast.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Color the tablecloth checks in two colors — it takes patience, but it looks great.
- Count the place settings: how many friends are coming to dinner? Find out in Part 3.
