On a new planet the kitty meets a friendly alien. The little alien has antennae, a big smile and holds out a flower, while the kitty offers a wrapped present. Giant mushrooms, round bushes and a ringed planet fill the background, and the rocket waits with its ladder down. It is a sweet page about making friends, and it ends Part 1 of the story.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Choose any colors for the alien — green, pink, purple, even polka dots.
- Ask kids what gift they would bring to a new friend from another planet.
Questions
Is the alien scary?
Not at all — it is a small, smiling alien holding a flower. A good page for little kids.
