Pages in this set

This is the first part of Space Adventures, our coloring book about a little kitty astronaut. In seven pages the kitty blasts off in a rocket, takes the pilot’s seat, plants a flag on the moon, floats outside the ship on a spacewalk, waters the space garden, chases floating snacks in zero gravity and makes a new friend on an alien planet.

What kids get

Big, friendly shapes — rockets, planets, helmets, stars — with a thick outline that is easy for small hands, plus plenty of extra details for older kids: control panels, craters, asteroids and a little robot rover. The kitty wears the same star-badge space suit on every page, so the finished pages look like a real picture book.

Ideas for using these pages

  • Space week in class: one page a day, with a short fact about rockets, the moon or gravity.
  • Storytelling: shuffle the seven pages and let kids put the adventure in order, then tell the story out loud.
  • Quiet time: a page and a pack of crayons for a car trip or a waiting room.

Each page has its own download. Complete Part 1 has the cover and all seven pages in one file.

The adventure continues

In Part 2 · Planet Explorer the kitty drives a moon rover, collects glowing crystals, fixes a satellite, makes pancakes in the space kitchen and finally flies home to friends.
