The rocket has landed. The kitty stands on the moon's bumpy, cratered surface and holds up a flag with a star on it, waving with the other paw. To the left a small robot rover on six wheels explores the rocks, behind them the rocket stands on its legs, and the sky above is full of stars and two planets. It is a classic moon-landing scene made cute for kids.
Printing and coloring tips
Print at 100% on Letter or A4. Plain 80–100 gsm copy paper is fine for crayons and colored pencils; for markers, use thicker paper or put a scrap sheet underneath so the ink doesn't bleed through. Detailed scenes like this one are easier with fine-tip markers or sharpened pencils.
Ideas for this page
- Use grays and light purples for the moon so the craters stand out.
- Design your own flag: what symbol would you put on it?
